3M ESPE Ketac Molar GI Filling Cement has long been recognized as a pioneer in the success story of glass ionomer restorative materials. As a dentist, you appreciate the importance of offering tailored therapies to meet your patients’ diverse needs, and Ketac Molar GI Cement is a key component of our comprehensive product lineup. While glass ionomers may not be universally applicable, they shine in various dental indications, delivering outstanding results with minimal effort.

This versatile product finds its place in several important dental applications. It excels in single-surface fillings for posterior teeth, ensuring durable and reliable restorations. Ketac Molar GI Cement is also a valuable core build-up material, particularly suitable for primary teeth, serving as a worthy substitute for traditional amalgam fillings. For cervical fillings in the posterior region, it combines strength and aesthetics seamlessly. Dentists embracing the principles of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (MID) find Ketac Molar GI Cement to be a valuable tool for conservative yet effective treatments. Moreover, it serves as an excellent base material for both single- and multiple-surface composite fillings, providing a solid foundation for dental restorations.

The advantages of Ketac Molar GI Cement are manifold. Its high flexural strength significantly reduces the risk of restoration fractures, ensuring long-lasting results. It boasts exceptional adhesion to both enamel and dentin, enhancing the stability and longevity of restorations. Long-term fluoride release contributes to the prevention of secondary decay and supports overall dental health. With low acid erosion properties, it is gentle yet effective for dental restorations. Its radiopaque nature aids in easy identification during X-rays, ensuring precise diagnosis. Moreover, it’s a cost-effective choice without compromising on quality, making it suitable for various clinical scenarios.

Ketac Molar GI Cement is not only a dentist’s ally but also a child-friendly option, thanks to its ease of use. Its excellent mechanical properties are particularly advantageous for posterior teeth, where durability is paramount. For those looking to streamline their workflow, the Ketac Molar Quick variant offers fast-setting solutions for posterior restorations, saving valuable chair time.
